- Are my files sent to a server?
The app processes selected PDFs in your browser and does not upload them. Its pinned PDF engine and rendering worker are served by this site, make no third-party CDN request, and remain available to the current tab if the network drops after the page has loaded. Browser extensions and the device itself remain outside this guarantee. - Which libraries are used?
pdf-lib 1.17.1 (MIT) and PDF.js 4.2.67 (Apache-2.0). See the vendored dependency record. - What are the processing limits?
PDFs are limited to 40 MB per file, 20 files/80 MB per batch, and 200 pages per document. Images are limited to 20 MB, 8,000 pixels per edge, and 24 million pixels each. These limits prevent the tab from exhausting device memory. - Are all PDFs supported?
Most standard PDFs are supported. However, encrypted or password-protected PDFs cannot be processed. - Will every PDF feature remain unchanged?
Pages are not rasterized, so text and image quality are generally preserved. Digital signatures, encryption, and some forms, annotations, or metadata may change when the file is saved. Keep the original and verify the result.
